Investigation and Photo Distribution - The Critical Reach System

Child Find Manitoba works closely with the Winnipeg Police Service, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Canada Customs and Canada Immigration, the Missing Children's Registry, and other provincial Child Find offices across the country.

In order to assist in the location of missing children, Child Find Manitoba networks with all of the above organizations to maximize search and location efforts. Through contacts, networking, flyer and photo distribution, and tips on our toll free line, we are able to assist in the location of missing children.

Child Find Manitoba utilizes the Critical Reach System for photo distribution. Using Critical Reach, it takes only minutes to create and print a flyer with the child's photo and case information. The flyer is electronically distributed to any number of other Critical Reach systems and fax machines.

Critical Reach enables the following:

Maximizes the chance of safe recovery of an abducted child.
Provides needed technology to law enforcement and child protection agencies.
Creates an active, aware community to partner with law enforcement.
Provides many daily uses to benefit all citizens. Child Find Manitoba utilizes this innovative, community-based program to combat child victimization and build a safer environment for all citizens.
