Play Tag With Your Kids

The Play Tag With Your Kids program is designed to provide a well-organized, professional, and efficient system to prevent and deal with any missing children. The program is carried out by volunteers, and can be found at many major local and area events. For example, at Winnipeg Blue Bomber home games, all children entering the stadium are tagged at the gate. The tags indicate the child's seat section and row number, and should they become separated from their parents, they can be returned promptly to their seat without being identified. The program is also operated at other major family events such as the Red River Exhibition, the Teddy Bears' Picnic, Canada Day celebrations, Boo at the Zoo, New Year's Eve at the Forks, and the War Child benefit concert. At these locations, the children and their parents entering the event are given a tag and important safety instructions in the event they become separated.
