Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are invaluable to Child Find Manitoba. Without their ongoing dedication and support our programs would not be possible. Our agency was built on the strengths of volunteers and now we are a national child serving organization as a result.

At All About Me ID Clinics, volunteers are needed to:

  • Run the clinics, including registration (obtaining the ID card information), fingerprinting children, taking photos and making the ID cards
  • Explain to parents the importance of the program, including how the cards and fingerprints should be kept and maintained, and discuss safety strategies
  • Set up and take down all clinics

At Play Tags, volunteers are needed to:

  • Tag children as they enter the event
  • Explain how Play Tag works to parents/guardians and children
  • Take information from parents or children who are separated from their guardian
  • Reunite children with parents or guardians
  • Keep everyone safe and calm

Youth Advisory volunteers:

  • It is essential to Child Find to have a strong group of youth volunteers, our mandate is to protect children and the insight of our Youth Advisory is invaluable
  • Volunteers between the ages of 16-24 can participate on the Youth Advisory
  • The Youth Advisory keeps us connected to the youth of today
  • Volunteers are asked for input on a number of topics and upcoming events

Office Volunteers are needed to:

  • Work on various data entry projects
  • Work on critical reach
  • Fold booklets for All About Me ID Clinics, prepare Play Tags, fold Missing Children Posters and help with other special events
  • Focus groups to vet new programs, events and campaigns
